Registration for all tryout teams run through February 17!!! Coach pitch and Tee ball teams until March 1st!

2025 Larch Mountain Little League- Softball

Determining league age can be difficult and confusing sometimes. The Age Determination Date for a Little League Softball player is the actual age of a child on December 31 of the previous year.. League age chart


Coach Pitch Softball: For girls, league age 8 and under. Focusing on the fundamentals of softball and structured as coach pitch softball. The diamond has 60-foot base paths and a 35 foot pitching distance. Should attend player evaluations.
Minors Softball: For girls, league age 10-8. Focusing on the fundamentals of softball, and beginning levels of Fastpitch and is as structured as player-pitch softball. The diamond has 60-foot base paths and a 35 foot pitching distance. Should attend player evaluations.

Majors Softball: For girls, league age 12-10. Similar to Majors baseball, this division of softball is structured as player-pitch Fastpitch softball. The diamond has 60-foot base paths and a 35 foot pitching distance. The field uses a 60-foot diamond and a 40 foot pitching distance. Should attend player evaluations.

NOTE: Player is subject to draft in Majors & Minors Divisions. Depending on age and skill levels, player could be drafted to Majors or Minor Divisions. Player MUST attend player evaluations. Coach Pitch or teeball does not attend player evaluations

2025 Larch Mountain Little League Baseball

LEAGUE AGE: Determining league age can be difficult and confusing sometimes. For Little League Baseball, the Age Determination Date is the actual age of a child on August 31 of the current year. Please reference the league age chart/calculator for any questions or help determining league age. Division notes:

Teeball: League Age 4-5 Year olds. Tee Ball is the entry level division for players that focuses on fun, fitness, and fundamentals while also being key to growing a child’s love for the game. Co-Ed, and players use a tee to hit off. Does not attend player evaluations.

Coach Pitch: League Age 6-7 year olds. -Entry level division for players where the coach is the pitcher. Focuses on fun, fundamentals, and fitness. Does not attend player evaluations.

AA Minors Baseball: Leage Age 8-10 year olds. Sub-division of the Minors. This is program is a part coach-pitch and part player-pitch division to focus on fundamentals of pitching, but keeps the game in motion. A great transitional program before moving up to only player-pitch and more competitive divisions. Subject to Draft. Should attend player evaluations.

AAA Minors Baseball: League Age 8-11 Year Olds. Minor league player-pitch only division, to prepare players for the majors division. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet. Subject to Draft. Should attend player evaluations.

Majors Baseball: Leage Age 10-12 year Olds. Competitive player-pitch division of baseball. The diamond used is a 60-foot diamond and the pitching distance is 46 feet. Subject to Draft and required to attend player evaluations.

Intermediate Baseball: League Age 12 or 13 year olds. . 50/70. A transitional program using a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. This player pitch division is open to players whom have aged out of Majors division. This division offers a transition for players between the standard Little League field size and the full size Junior/Senior field size (60-foot, 6-inch pitching distance and 90-foot base paths). Required to attend player evaluations.

Junior: League Age 14 year olds. This teen division uses a conventional 90-foot diamond with a pitching distance of 60 feet, 6 inches. Required to attend player evaluations.

*those players minors/majors/intermediate/juniors interested in post season tournament play must attend player evaluations for eligibility to be selected.
